2. How We Use Data
All data processing happens locally within your browser environment:
- Local Scraped Data: Record information fetched via the Form Center or List Helper is processed entirely in-memory and lost when the page is closed or refreshed.
- Local Storage: We use your browser's local storage only to remember your non-sensitive preferences, such as Environment Switcher URLs and sidebar state.
3. Security
The extension uses modern browser security standards:
- Shadow DOM: Isolates the extension's UI from the host page to prevent script interference.
- Isolated Worlds: Ensures that the extension logic runs in a secure environment separate from the main page script context.
4. Third-Party Services
NowDev Assistant does not interact with any third-party services. All communication is strictly between your browser and the ServiceNow instance you are currently logged into.
